Full Spectrum Warrior

Name: Full Spectrum Warrior
Developer: Pandemic Studios
Publisher: THQ
Genre: Tactics/Strategy
Description: Set in a fictional war in a fictional Middle-Eastern country(based on Iraq), Full Spectrum Warrior puts you in the battlefront, commanding two(sometimes three) different squads of US Soldiers completing objectives and rescuing pinned down squads.

Review: Now for a strategy on a console, this works quite well, Pandemic(now closed down, thanks to EA) did manage to utilize the PS2's controller into working as well as it would using a mouse and keyboard. The graphics are great for it's time, and the physics work well in some cases, unless you command a squad to run into an empty barrel or two(then kabooooom! it flies out of the map!). The realism in combat and general tactics actually work quite well, the game overall is solid in it's deliverance of a strategy game for a console.

Criticisms. The odd pop-in or screen tearing but nothing that bad, and sometimes moving your squad from place to place can be a bit nerve-racking.

Rating: 8.5

rd definition, or whatever P it had, or something..... ha. Anyways yeah it took a small bit of adjusting to but now it's easy to be able to play the game, I just suggest to anyone who is going to go back to their older 3D consoles to remember the quality of the screen ain't HD anymore, expect the blurry madness we put up with for so many years.
